Editorial and source policy
Signals are not stories
Automated trend observations remain unverified until research supports a useful answer to the underlying search intent.
Evidence requirements
We prefer primary or official evidence. For ordinary news topics, publication requires primary evidence or corroboration from at least two independent reputable publishers. Higher-stakes health, financial, and legal topics require qualifying primary evidence.
Attribution and uncertainty
Evidence receipts identify what an outlet reported. Coinciding coverage is not presented as proof that the coverage caused search interest. Unsupported causal explanations are not published.
Corrections
Failed validation can move a brief out of public discovery. Send the brief URL and disputed claim to editor@whyitsrising.com.
